Life as simple as it may sound can be the most stressful aspects of one’s being. One day your feeling accomplished on top of the world and other days feel as if a ton a bricks hit you all at once. On days when you’re feeling the worst, it’s important to know how to re-center yourself from the world around you.
Self-Care is essential as drinking water, eating and sleeping daily. Self-care is important for our physical, mental and emotional well-being. SO DON’T NEGLECT IT!
WAYS TO PRACTICE SELF-CARE:
Meditate
Stop Overthinking
Learn a new skill
Check in with your emotions
Read your favorite book
Get a manicure or pedicure
Take a long Bath with candles
Learn how to say “NO”
Take yourself out on a date
Get rid of toxic people
Spend a day with your pet
Detox from all social media
Listen to your favorite playlist
Invite a friend over
Do something that brings you joy
Plan your next vacation
Take up an instrument
Try a DIY project
Get coffee with an old friend
Write out your thoughts even if it’s only for your eyes to see.
Buy flowers for your office or home
Listen to music
Clean your home/get organized
Visit a place connected to fond memories
Cook a hearty meal for yourself
Go for a walk at daybreak or at sunset
Pray
Take yourself out even if it’s for an errand
Make a gratitude list
Sip a cup of hot tea and look out the window
Make a list of how you want to feel
